Selecting a Two-Stage Fruit Pulper and Finisher

Match primary pulp recovery and finer finishing with the fruit preparation, accepted texture, screen arrangement and reject collection.

Two stages have different responsibilities

The first screening stage recovers edible material and removes larger unwanted fractions. The second stage refines the recovered stream. The pictured assembly uses separately driven cylinders on a shared frame.

Texture sets the finishing requirement

Describe retained particles and fibres in the wanted product. A finer screen can change product losses and limit the connected assembly, so screen opening is assessed with the actual feed and operating setup.

Review both outlets and access

Product and reject streams need separate handling. Allow room for inspection, screen removal and safe cleaning. Stone-bearing fruit may need its own preparation boundary before generic pulping.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Prepared fruit and unwanted fractions
  • Required pulp texture
  • Screen and changeover needs
  • Product and reject collection layout

Describe the product and the machine you need. Add the known process conditions; the remaining configuration can be discussed around your actual project.
