Fruit Crusher vs Destoner: Preparation Before Recovery

Separate size reduction from stone handling when specifying preparation equipment for a juice or fruit-pulp recovery section.

Different mechanical jobs

The rotor crusher breaks prepared fruit into mash. Destoning separates wanted flesh from a stone-bearing fruit using selected working parts and separate reject collection. Crushing alone does not establish stone removal.

Protect the downstream assembly

Hard stones and foreign objects can damage working parts or create unwanted fragments. Define which preparation tasks occur before the hopper and which are included in the selected machine.

Assess recovery and rejects together

Inspect flesh left with the stones as well as fragments carried into the product. A high feed rate without agreed product and reject quality does not demonstrate the right preparation result.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Fruit variety and maturity
  • Stone and peel condition
  • Product-fragment limit
  • Preparation and reject collection scope

Describe the product and the machine you need. Add the known process conditions; the remaining configuration can be discussed around your actual project.
