Mango, pineapple and guava processing equipment

Tropical and fibrous fruit puts the recovery and finishing stages under pressure. Peel, seeds, fibre and viscosity change what passes through a screen, pump, valve or thermal passage.

What the fruit changes

Use the five stages below to turn the fruit description into a machine brief. The equipment list is a shortlist of duties to investigate, not a claim of model compatibility.

Typical examples
Mango · Pineapple · Guava · Passion fruit · Papaya
At the machine inlet
Fruit with species, variety, maturity, peel condition, seed or stone content and the preparation already performed stated.
01

Prepare

Washing and inspection are followed by the preparation that suits the fruit. Mango has a stone; pineapple and guava bring peel and fibrous material; passion fruit brings a seed and pulp structure. These are not interchangeable preparation duties.

02

Recover

A pulper recovers an edible pulp fraction; a press targets expressed liquid. Fibrous material and seeds affect screen loading, reject collection and the acceptable product texture. Review the actual working parts, not only a nominal aperture.

03

Finish

Finishing controls coarse fibre and retained particles. A clear-liquid target needs a separate clarification review. High-viscosity pulp may need different pump, valve and thermal passages from a thin juice.

04

Treat

The product condition at the thermal machine is the pulp or juice after finishing, not the whole fruit. Particle size, viscosity and fouling behaviour need to be stated for the selected passage and holding arrangement.

05

Fill or transfer

Bulk filling and transfer are selected around the finished product's viscosity, particles and temperature. The bag, fitment and support arrangement are part of the filling specification.

Fruit questions

Before you shortlist equipment

Which fruit does this page cover?

Mango · Pineapple · Guava · Passion fruit · Papaya. The family is a starting point: variety, maturity and the condition entering the machine still need to be stated.

Which equipment should I review first?

Washing and inspection are followed by the preparation that suits the fruit. Mango has a stone; pineapple and guava bring peel and fibrous material; passion fruit brings a seed and pulp structure. These are not interchangeable preparation duties. A pulper recovers an edible pulp fraction; a press targets expressed liquid. Fibrous material and seeds affect screen loading, reject collection and the acceptable product texture. Review the actual working parts, not only a nominal aperture.

What information should I include in an enquiry?

Species, variety, maturity and peel, stone or seed condition; Preparation steps already available and the material entering recovery; Wanted product: juice, cloudy juice, puree, concentrate or base; Fibre, particle and viscosity limits through every downstream passage; Rate basis, package and the complete treatment boundary. The likely equipment duties can then be reviewed against the actual product and supply boundary.
