Match equipment to the material at its inlet

A fruit name is only the starting point. Its state at the machine determines the next selection question.

At the selected machine inlet

Firm fruit and prepared mash

State whether the machine receives whole fruit, cut flesh or a prepared mash. Washing and size reduction are upstream responsibilities; a press requires a mash that can release and drain the wanted liquid. A fruit name alone is not the local equipment inlet specification.

At the selected machine inlet

Stone-bearing fruit

Separate the stone-handling responsibility before choosing generic crushing or pulping. Confirm fruit maturity, stone adhesion, fragments and flesh quality. The catalogue keeps destoning visible as a separate duty; it does not certify a particular model’s stone-fruit range.

At the selected machine inlet

Fibrous fruit and flesh

Identify preparation, fibre length and unwanted peel/seed fractions. Compare the proposed recovery and finishing method with actual samples. The downstream product may need a different passage and rheology review from the raw feed.

Extracted liquid

Record prior processing, suspended solids, temperature, air and intended clarity. Clarification is conditional on the product target. Thermal, concentration and filling offers require the actual fluid and preservation/packaging boundary.

Prepared pumpable pulp

Specify texture, retained particles and viscosity with a method and temperature. Review every passage, pump and valve rather than judging fit by a machine label. Filtration, thermal treatment and filling should be assessed against this actual intermediate.
