Fruit Pulper vs Juice Press: Which Recovery Method?

Choose between pulp screening and juice pressing by the product you want to recover, its texture and the prepared fruit entering the machine.

Start with the wanted fraction

A pulper works edible material through screens while separating larger unwanted fractions. A press extracts liquid from prepared mash and leaves a pressed residue. A juice product and a puree therefore need different recovery decisions, even when they begin with the same fruit.

Preparation changes the result

Identify peel, seeds, stones, ripeness and the mash condition before comparing recovery. A pulper screen cannot be selected from a fruit name alone; pressing also depends on whether the prepared mash can release and drain liquid.

Compare useful output

Measure incoming fruit, accepted product and rejects separately. Agree the wanted texture or juice quality first, then compare yield at those conditions. Raw feed capacity does not establish accepted-product output.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Wanted juice or puree specification
  • Prepared fruit condition
  • Required feed and accepted-product rate
  • Seed, peel and reject handling

Describe the product and the machine you need. Add the known process conditions; the remaining configuration can be discussed around your actual project.
