Working principle

The offered dosing method and passages must handle the actual product without unacceptable variation or damage. The product can behave differently during start/stop and at different temperatures, so a representative trial matters.

Passages

Check pump, valve, nozzle and fitting limits together; a large nozzle alone is not enough.

Portion quality

Define fill tolerance and, where relevant, particle distribution in accepted packages.

Campaign output

State the accepted-pack basis with cleaning, changeover and rejected output identified separately.

Material and operating limits

No universal viscosity range, particle size or filling speed is assigned without an actual assembly and test.

Inlet, outlet and installation interfaces

Match upstream treatment/transfer and package process, including hold, pressure and hygienic release.

Cleaning and maintenance

Allow safe dismantling of dosing and product-contact parts, seal inspection and removal of trapped material.
