Diagnose a fruit equipment mismatch before adding capacity
Use a local material balance and shared timestamps to find the limiting duty.
Separate rate from accepted output
Record the material at the measurement point and the period used. Short samples, continuous running and scheduled-day output are different claims. Compare product that meets the agreed quality limits, not just everything discharged.
Find changed material conditions
Note incoming fruit maturity, preparation, fibre, stones, temperature and any water addition. A downstream symptom may begin upstream. Compare matched samples around the suspect machine and retain the reject-stream evidence.
Follow interruptions
Record feed surges, buffer levels, treatment stops, filler rejects and cleaning events on one timeline. A larger motor or tank cannot correct a permanent mismatch in product duty or control behaviour. Identify whether the limit is sustained or intermittent.
Change one defined variable
Review adjustments with the equipment and process specialists within supplied operating limits. Document the baseline and acceptance criteria before trials. Do not bypass guards, pressure protection or hygienic release checks to obtain a higher displayed rate.
