Evaporation vs Heat Treatment: Different Fruit-Product Duties

Distinguish water removal for concentrate production from controlled heat treatment for a selected product and packaging route.

Concentration changes the product stream

An evaporator removes water towards a defined solids target. Feed solids, final viscosity, circulation, vapour separation and services are part of this duty. Its water-removal basis differs from product-feed flow.

Treatment defines a temperature and residence boundary

A thermal system controls heating, holding and cooling for the specified product. It should not be treated as an interchangeable water-removal machine.

Specify the handoff

Concentrate can have different flow and fouling behaviour from dilute feed. Downstream pumps, treatment passages and filling equipment must be reviewed at the final product condition.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Feed and target solids
  • Final concentrate condition
  • Water-removal and feed-rate bases
  • Downstream treatment and filling requirements

Describe the product and the machine you need. Add the known process conditions; the remaining configuration can be discussed around your actual project.
