Installation and maintenance questions for fruit machinery
Assess how the actual assembly will be installed, isolated and serviced.
Equipment access
Request dimensions with service envelopes, not only the transport footprint. Screen removal, belt changes, lifting, press-residue discharge and tank cleaning require different spaces. Account for operator circulation and safe separation from moving equipment.
Foundation and connections
Verify actual loading, drainage, elevations and connection loads with the offered arrangement. Route utilities so that inspection and disassembly remain possible. Review mechanical, electrical and control responsibility at every supplier/customer boundary.
Maintenance records
Obtain the supplied model’s parts list, drawing revision, wear criteria and safe isolation procedure. Generic category pages cannot specify service intervals for every cutter, seal, membrane or gasket. Keep installed parts and revisions traceable.
Handover scope
Agree as-installed drawings, manuals, instruments, spares and operator instruction in the proposal. Demonstrate access and critical functions during acceptance. A successful no-load run is not evidence of product-duty performance or verified cleaning.
