Cleanability as an equipment selection requirement
Evaluate accessible product paths and cleaning limits before integrating a new module.
Map contact surfaces
Separate raw-fruit handling from extracted product, treatment and filling. Identify enclosed paths, seals, screens, return loops and parts removed for cleaning. A general stainless-steel description is not a complete contact-material or cleanability specification.
Choose the cleaning boundary
Record which assemblies can be cleaned in place and which need dismantling. The actual circuit geometry, flow and returns determine coverage. An existing CIP unit must be checked for the new duty rather than assumed sufficient because a connection is available.
Inspect practical access
Leave space to open a pulper, remove a screen, withdraw a plate pack or service valves. Consider safe isolation, lifting and drainage. Cleaning access that exists only in a sales drawing may disappear once other machines or pipework are installed.
Agree release evidence
Define the applicable coverage, residue and release checks with the responsible specialists. The catalogue does not prescribe a universal chemical recipe. Materials, soil, process conditions and market responsibilities determine the final cleaning and verification programme.
