Pulp and juice finisher | Fruit Processing Equipment

Set the retained pulp, fibre and seed boundary before specifying the finishing assembly.

Finish & clarify

Control coarse or unwanted fractions

Input
Extracted liquid or prepared pulp with defined coarse material.
Output
A controlled retained fraction and a separate reject stream.

Working principle

Finishing separates according to the actual machine geometry and operating conditions. Screen description is one input to the specification. The acceptance sample must demonstrate the wanted edible fraction and the limits on unwanted material.

Texture

Specify retained particles or pulp with a measurement method. Do not assume that all coarse material should disappear.

Loss accounting

Measure accepted product and rejected material on the same mass/volume basis and note any wash additions.

Downstream fit

Check the passages, rheology and particle limits of the next treatment or filling device.

Material and operating limits

Coarse finishing is not automatically clear-juice clarification or a microbial removal claim.

Inlet, outlet and installation interfaces

Define inlet consistency and pressure, product/reject collection and cleaning returns without cross-contamination.

Cleaning and maintenance

Inspect screen condition, seals and rotor clearance according to the supplied design; arrange safe removal and cleaning.

Compare this duty

Compare equivalent finishing assemblies on a matched feed and retained-fraction specification. Clarifiers are a different task.
